The rk*_server family meanwhile is regarded as a standard for  Linux - Simatic - Connectivity.
 
 

MS-DOS und MS-Windows-Software:

PROPRO  a PROTOOL-Add-on
- Propro generates error messages for Simatic OPs using a  Step 7- Datablock as the source.

DBQVL:
- DBQVL  generates a Cross reference list  of DBs for Step5.  Indispensable for big  S5 programs.
 
 

Standard Software for Simatic S7

a growing function block library of always used functions:

- Fifos, configurable in a wide range
- Special control circuits
- Components for control circuits ( low band filter, ramps, analog value input, delimiter, Min Max  select, etc.)
